Who Is Mychael?




Mychael is an Outside Hitter for the Ossining High School Varsity Volleyball team. Donning #6 or #23, she also plays for the Downstate Juniors VBC on their 17 Black team.

After seeing Mychael play, you may be surprised to learn that her athletic beginnings were in Track & Field, where she excelled as a sprinter and soccer. Her father began training her at age 5 and although it was hard work (and she HATED it), it really gave her the right foundation and helped her to become the athlete she is today.

Her love and devotion to volleyball is unmatched by anyone her age, and many girls older. Mychael eats, drinks and sleeps volleyball and is committed to the sport and always gives 100%.

Her aspiration is to be an Olympic volleyball player, but she knows that college is her next step towards that goal. To that end, Mychael is doing all of the right things in high school, maintaining her high honor roll status, so that she can be selected by colleges with a great volleyball program.

Mychael is a resident of Ossining, NY and will graduate in the class of 2020.
